Roller Ski Clinic!
When there's no snow, or there's not enough time to drive to the mountain, rollerskis provide a movement specific opportunity to optimize your time when you are able to be on snow. Providing both the physiological and technical demands of cross country skiing, rollersking is a low impact sport that allows a high training volume with a low risk of overuse injury.
The
clinic will provide a sampling of skate and classic rollerskis. Poles
and boots availability is limited and it is best to bring your
own. Bike helmets are required, gloves are a good idea.
Clinic will be taught by:
Karl Andersson, a USSA Level 200 Cross Country Ski Coach and Head Coach of the Teacup Junior and Masters Development program.
Harrison Harb, a top Oregon ski racer with years of coaching experience and a 15th place finish at the 2019 American Birkie.
Denes Balazs, a PSIA certified instructor and assistant coach of the Teacup Junior/Master Team
