good stuff! OVERALL: xtratufs, while now made in china and not quite as TOUGH and well made as they used to be, alas, remain go-to boots for the wet alaskan months (aka whenever it's not snowing). I've worn this particular pair for a week while out foraging in the mud and bogs, and they held up well. more on sizing below. SIZING: I typically wear a 6.5 to 7, and went with a 7 based on sizing charts on the xtratuf/salmon sisters website. heads up that - surprise, surprise - this women's pair runs WAY more narrow than the unisex/men's pairs. overall, the pair is ALMOST snug and I'm glad I wouldn't typically want to wear these with a thick sock in the winter here. I had read that this series run tight, but decided to go with my standard size based on the charts and not wanting them to be too big. that said, I reockon an 8 would be A-OK. I urge anyone who wants to wear thicker socks or has a half size to round up, as many people say on other websites. BOTTOM LINE I'm ticked that I bought alaskan-created (& mainstay) boots after working down the street from OMC in oregon for years, that were, of course, made in china. on the plus side, these are certainly cute. I went with the octopus print interior, and look forward to rolling them down on nicer days ! also - let me add that shipping was SUPER fast!!!! thank you, omcgear!!!!
