Supremely adapted to a variety of mountain experiences, the updated Salewa Alp Trainer Mid 2 GTX hiking boot is light enough for fast day hikes, supportive enough for backpacking, and retaining just enough technical details to allow alpine scrambling. EVA midsole combines with a nylon shank style midsole provides cushioning and support. Salewa’s famed 3F design cradles the heel area with an asymmetric Y shaped system to hug the rear foot area securely. A blend of leather and synthetics in the upper offers a blend of long term durability with nimble comfort. And of course, backed with a Gore-Tex waterproof and breathable membrane.
