The pro quality Black Diamond Evac shovel has a unique handle that works like a traditional shovel, but can be switched to a hoe-like position for rapid snow removal. The (2.65 L - 0.7 gal) blade moves snow quickly, and a flat-bottom profile helps you get a good clean face on your pit wall. The extendable shaft and large D handle increase comfort for pit digging, or lamentably, speed digging during an emergency.
