Sure, if you live where it is green or blue hard wax everyday magic skis are easy to find. For everyone else, it could be hard tracks one day, soft the next, falling deep snow, wet slushy old snow, klister, sticky hard waxes (or mixes). The REDline 3.0 has the carrying capacity to be a pure klister skis, but the performance in just about anything is astounding. Very fast in most conditions with remarkable acceleration for double poling. The carrying capacity for klister also keeps any kick wax free during the glide phase, yet still has accessible kick. To optimize the performance, this is one of the very few classic skis that might benefit with the use of the Rottefella Move Switch to allow quick and easy tweaking of the wax pocket.
